Dr. Fallon is a clinical research psychiatrist at the New York State Psychiatric Institute and Columbia University Irving Medical Center. His research background includes expertise in post-treatment Lyme disease and its neuropsychiatric manifestations. Dr. Fallon currently directs a clinical trials network on Lyme and Tick-borne Diseases. Recent work has included a nationwide study of mental disorders and suicide after Lyme disease. Current research focuses on the multiple mechanisms underlying persistent symptoms and targeted treatment approaches. Dr Fallon serves on the NIH Steering Committee for their Long COVID Clinical Trials (RECOVER-CT).
